Update #6

Another update.

I have decided to make a more advanced rig for Sally, one that suits her physique better!

I will also include a video on bind layer and bind point, as they are part of the advanced rig.

Here is a short video where I am playing with an early version of the rig, lots of fun.

I am working hard on this, so please be patient as this takes huge amount of time.

I will keep You all posted every day or so.

I am also planning a few more goodies for those who pre-ordered the set.

  1. no problem Gilles take your time...i prefer quality over being impatient...its better to enjoy what you are doing and produce a quality tutorial that i can use than to rush and put out an inferior vanilla product...i have confidence you will deliver a great product...i understand everybody has a life outside of work

  2. Thank You misterhank.

Thing is, this thing took a life of its own, it is getting more and more involved as I go, which is a great thing for You guys, but also means lot more work for myself! :)

  3. Hi Gilles,

Sally is looking really nice. You've really got a good skeleton there. Good job!

On a different note I have a request. Could you at some point discuss how to handle workflow for larger animations like 2 minutes or more? Like how do you handle transitions between scenes? Do you do many small clips in Anime Studio and stitch them together with another tool like iMovie, Final Cut, Shake, After Effects, etc.? Or do you do the entire thing in Anime Studio?

    Thanks

This sounds like a free tutorial to me really, I added it to the list, will have a look at it soon.
